How to Prepare Voiceovers for Hypit Video Projects
Prepare a script, choose a voice, export narration with Kitta, and review timing for a Hypit project. Includes bilingual sample copy and an audio handoff checklist.

Start with a narration brief
This guide covers preparing audio outside Hypit. It does not claim a tested native Kitta Provider or a completed Hypit video integration. You can use the same preparation process when handing audio to a human editor.
Choose one audience, one product benefit, and one action. For a first draft, aim for a short paragraph instead of several disconnected slogans. Keep the exact script with the recording so the next editing step has a reliable transcript.
1. Draft the script before choosing effects
Try the original sample script below. Read it aloud and remove anything that is difficult to say naturally. A 15–20 second target is a planning goal, not a guaranteed output duration; measure the generated file.
Keep brand names, quantities, and the call to action consistent across versions. If a product name is pronounced incorrectly, revise its spelling or the pronunciation controls supported by your chosen model, then regenerate only after reviewing the correction.
2. Choose and audition a voice in Kitta
Open the voice library and listen to candidates in the language you need. Choose a voice for intelligibility and fit with the message. A playful delivery may suit an informal product demo, while an instructional video may need a steadier pace.
In the text-to-speech tool, paste the script, select the voice, and generate a short draft. Check the selected model’s supported controls and displayed cost. Voice and language support can differ between models; avoid assuming every control works on every voice.
For a useful A/B comparison, keep the wording unchanged and select two voices. Listen to both with the same playback volume. Judge the clarity of the first sentence, the product name, and the final action rather than choosing solely by the voice preview.
3. Download the audio and record its settings
Download the accepted take using the available export option. Save the script beside it and give both files matching names, such as product-intro-en-v1. Keep the voice identifier and settings in a small note. Retain a local copy rather than relying only on a temporary audio URL.
Listen to the downloaded file from beginning to end. Check for clipped openings, missing words, sudden volume changes, and excessive silence. Record the actual duration; generation processing time is not the same measurement as audio length.
4. Hand the final recording to your Hypit agent
Give the agent the local audio path and exact transcript. Ask it to inspect the installed Hypit version and determine how to use the recording as an existing asset. The prompt below is a handoff brief, not a verified import command or an automatically configured integration.
Hypit documents word-based timing and hosted or local alignment options. Have the agent explain the required alignment step and any cost before running it. Review a short render before committing to the full composition.

Inspect this Hypit installation and explain how to use the existing audio.
Keep the recording unchanged. Review caption alignment against this final take.
Do not regenerate narration or call paid services without an agreed budget.5. Create another language version
Translate the meaning and the call to action, then ask a fluent reviewer to check the wording. Generate a separate recording with a voice supported for that language. Do not assume that translating a sentence preserves its duration.
Use a new transcript and new alignment for each language. Check line breaks, text expansion, and whether the narration still fits the visuals. If it runs long, shorten the copy or adjust the edit before forcing a large speed change.
Troubleshooting the handoff
Captions drift: confirm they were aligned to the downloaded final take, not an earlier draft. A voice sounds different: compare the voice identifier, model, and supported settings. An audio URL expires: use the retained file or a suitable durable asset location.
An API key is rejected: confirm which service issued it. Direct Kitta API use inside Hypit requires a compatible Provider and a tested request mapping. Use the API documentation to plan that work; do not paste credentials into a public workflow or article.
Start with one voiceover
Listen to an existing English voice sample from this site, then use the original script below for your own draft. This audio is not a recording of the script below or a Hypit render.
